Proverb 2:22

“But the wicked will be cut off from the earth,
And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.”

Oh but if you fall for her! You will not dwell in the land, among those who shunned her voice.

It pains me to consider you and I, unwelcome in the place, thriving with life and festivities.

But having visited this second chapter in the book of Proverbs, we have been given a hand-made invitation complete with directions to the venue.

Lean in to wisdom;
Embrace understanding;
Seek for discernment;
And the knowledge of God will preserve your way.
He will deliver you from the perverse words of the man;
From the seductress who entices with her words;
So that you may dwell in the land;
And not be uprooted from it.

Stay on that path and you will find your way there—to remain.
