Proverb 2:21

“For the upright will dwell in the land,
And the blameless will remain in it.”

The upright, those who resist the seductress, will dwell in the land. They will dwell–live!

Though she promises you a life she leads you down a destructive path to your very death. But should you reject her temptations, you will surely live!

Live!

Live.

The blameless will remain in the land. 

How easy it is to question the term “blameless” and how quickly we come to the conclusion that we are not. 

Because we aren’t. You and I, we’ve fallen for the lies of the seductress, probably more than a few times.   

But thanks be to God, we are seen blameless in his sight because of His son’s propitiation for our sins.

Because of Christ’s death, we live. And we are considered blameless, worthy of dwelling in the land!

Not a barren land. But a place to start a home; a place to cultivate a crop; to celebrate seasons, achievements and others.

A place to live!
