Proverb 1:19

“Such are the ways of everyone who is greedy for unjust gain;
it takes away the life of its possessors.”

All of these ways of the sinner…they describe all who are greedy for unjust gain. Me. Their (my) greed for undeserved profit or advantage reserves my place on the sinner’s path. 

It turns a person with a self-deserving, narcissistic attitude into a thief who robs others of their earnings. The ones to whom they rightfully belong. It’s not me. But my greed and my hunger for what they have transforms me. And it overcomes me. And I frequent the way of the sinner.
