It was a little intimidating at first, not knowing what to expect, but was fun to walk down memory lane and be reminded of what brought us together. And more importantly what keeps us together.  You were easy to talk to and had great questions. The final outcome is a treasure we will cherish forever.

The Deacon & The Redhead

We met Leah when my husband, Ara, began to attend a program for adults who are challenged. She greeted us with warmth and hope. We both liked her from he start. Who can resist a kind heart, especially when your life has taken a path that was so unexpected?

I heard of her endeavor, Stories ByTheWay, and wanted to be part of this new idea and wonderful adventure—looking into the lives of those who had given much to make this world a better place through their work and their example. What a creative and interesting way to share their story. I was impressed with the idea and the woman behind it.

We got together for a meeting, she took some pictures and asked questions about Ara’s work and life. I have not seen the finished product but she did me a favor and sent me a copy of the work she had done. I took that copy and framed it, placed it on the desk in the hall of my home. I look at it each day and find it a beautiful reminder of the life of the man I love. He was so full of life. He has forgotten friends and family, but he has not forgotten God.

Thank you Leah, for being part of our lives and giving us this special gift of your creativity and God-given gifts. Our prayer is that many others are blessed by your work and can see their loved one in their own special Story.
