Proverb 10:6

“Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.”

A liberal pool of prosperity gathers at the head of the righteous. Again, I don’t believe the blessings, or prosperity here, is telling of a monetary supply. So what does the blessing come in the form of? First, I think we have to ask why do they gather at the head? Why not at the feet, or in the palms, or in the heart? I suspect it’s because the blessings (or lack thereof) are derived from the mind.

When our contemplations are convoluted and our ideas incomplete, the mind becomes  closed off to the blessings of righteousness that are prepared for us. But our minds can be renewed. Our carnal thoughts can become spiritually astute. With the gentle blow of a breeze, we can learn to clear out the accumulating clouds of confusion and disrupt the distorted theories that have congregated. When we do, a transformation takes place: a pool of prosperity begins to flow and to gather in their place. An abundance of clarity and sound thoughts; a knowledge of the next steps; intuitive understanding; wisdom and will to carry it all out: abundant prosperity!

But the source of air, our mouths, which exert gusts of wind with our words can be covered up with wickedness. And when the air ins’t flowing, clouds will hover stagnantly over our thoughts.

You see, there is a synergy between thoughts and words, mouth and mind. When I speak false words words for unjust gain, damage others with their venom, and oppress my way to self-righteous standing I cover the mouth with wickedness—and block the flow of air.

But when pools of prosperity are flowing, my words will be kind and generous and patient; and as I speak, gentle breezes will work their way through my mind to clear out any obstructions; I will gain prosperous blessings and my sound thoughts will set my mouth up for righteous words.

Our inner being is an ecosystem; at all times, our thoughts and our words creating an environment for our selves to either thrive or become extinct.
